PRIMARY CAMP

2022 Dates TBD
Entering grades 1 - 3

Check back for updates!

Primary Camp Update

We are very sorry to announce that because of the logistical unknowns caused by COVID-19, Dunes will not be offering Primary Camp in 2021. We will however be lowering the minimum age requirement for Jr. Camp and are allowing campers who will be entering 3rd grade to attend.

One of the only camps for primary aged kids in the Northwest, we invites kids to enjoy a weekend full of fun! Campers spend the weekend singing, building sandcastles at the beach, racing around playing tag and relays, making fun creations during craft time and learning about Jesus in chapel!

What to bring

  • Bible, notebook, pencil
  • Clothes (include warm clothes, rain jacket, socks, sneakers and modest swimsuit)
  • Personal items (toiletries, towel and bag for dirty clothes)
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Sleeping bag, pillow and flashlight
  • Friends

Optional items:

  • Camera
  • Money for snack shack and T-shirt or sweatshirt

What not to bring

To remain consistent with our purpose and to foster an atmosphere focused on Christ and relationships, DO NOT bring the following items: cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, CD players, fireworks, firearms, knives, drugs or alcohol.

Lost & Found Policy

The Dunes will keep all lost and found items for 30 days. After this time, they will be donated to a local charity.

CHECK-IN begins on the first day of camp at 4pm.
CHECK-OUT is on the final day of camp at 10:30am.

CABIN BUDDY:

On the registration form, campers have the opportunity to request a friend to be in the same cabin. We will do our best to honor these requests, although we cannot make this guaranteed (especially when there are several friends requesting each other).

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Campers are not guaranteed a spot until a completed registration form and full payment is received. In case of cancellation, the Dunes will retain a $50 administration fee.

A camp T-shirt is included in the cost of registration. Please be sure to indicate your camper’s shirt size on their registration form.

VISITORS

Safety of the campers is our priority. We do not allow visitors. If you need to reach your camper, please contact the camp at 360.665.5380

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

Each camp has medical personnel on staff to oversee campers’ medications and any medical situations that may arise. We do not allow campers to go into the ocean, as the undertow can be dangerous. Young campers must pass a swim test to be allowed in the deep end of the swimming pool. At registration, every camper will have their heads checked for lice. If any lice is found, campers will be sent home.
