Retreat Speaker - Jason Sery
A longtime friend of our director, Brian Bickle, Jason has worked alongside him in ministry at Southwest Bible Church. With over 25 years of experience as a police officer, he currently serves as a police sergeant. He leads a weekly Bible study for fellow officers and serves on the board of Oregon’s largest public safety chaplaincy.
Jason holds a master’s degree in trauma and crisis response counseling, which he uses to equip first responders with biblical resilience and strength. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 28 years, and they have two adult children, both actively serving in ministry.
In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with family, reading, fishing, working in the yard, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
