Whether you are looking for uplifting conversations with other women, a getaway to the beach or just enjoying someone else doing the cooking and cleaning, Women’s Retreat at Dunes is a breath of fresh air! Bring a homemade craft or baked good for our Silent Auction and a snack to share.
RETREAT Speaker - Carolyn Palmer
Carolyn Palmer began her ministry in Los Gatos, California, serving alongside her late husband, Pastor Carl Palmer, in youth ministry and missions for 17 years.
In 2013, they joined Global Training Network, teaching and training pastors in countries like Nepal, Myanmar, Nigeria, and Ethiopia. After Carl's passing in 2022, Carolyn continued with GTN, focusing on developing pastoral training materials based on Carl's teachings.
Carolyn remains active in ministry, mentoring women, and serving at Cedar Mill Bible Church. She lives in the Cedar Mill community with her three sons, two daughters-in-law, and five granddaughters. Her hobbies include writing, piano, cooking, genealogy, and photographing wildlife.

Women’s Retreat is open to women 16 and up. We welcome mamas with babies.
SILENT AUCTION
The Silent Auction is an annual tradition at Women's Retreat, in which homemade/handcrafted items are entered. All the money raised from the Silent Auction will be split evenly between Dunes summer camper scholarships and another ministry.
SNACKS
We are going to have a shared snack table. Bring a snack to share!
FUNNY STORIES:
Laughter is a gift from God, and it’s so sweet to do it in fellowship! Before each session we will read a short real-life funny story provided by one of our Women’s Retreat attendees. Sleeping bag and pillow (bedding is not provided)
